Lunch

1:00 PM
  1. A cup of steamed broccoli
  2. Two indian rotis with cauliflower curry
  3. Daily dose of multi vitamin, omega-3 capsule and one odor-free garlic capsule

Breakfast

Normally, during the morning, am in a rush to catch the NJ transit train to New York. So, I normally have something light before I board the train and then have a proper breakfast at work.

8:00 AM:


  1. 1 glass home made fruit smoothie - banana, strawberries, blueberries, oranges and honey dew melon.
  2. Munch on 3 walnuts
  3. Drink a glass of water

10:00 AM:

  1. Hot cereal - mix of Bob's Red Mill Organic whole Grain High Fiber Cereal with Flaxseed, Wheat Germ, Brown Sugar and Skimmed Milk
  2. Drink a glass of water

Summary

Hey guys, over the last 6 months, I lost about 30 pounds. I used to weigh 161 lbs and now I weigh a healthy 131 lbs. Also, my blood pressure has dropped dramatically from 145/110 to slightly below 120/80. My triglycerides, cholesterol and sugar levels are all back to the ideal optimum range. So, I thought of blogging about my daily experiences, which will include what I had for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, etc and any frustrations encounted.

I hope my experience will motivate other people looking to lose weight in a healthy way
